Linque is a deep-tech start-up on the mission to develop cloud and AI infrastructure solutions for next-generation algorithms and computing. Our hardware solutions use photonic chips to achieve improvements in the energy consumption and speed of computations in comparison to current state-of-the-art hardware.
Tasks
- Design and development of schematic and layout for large-scale photonic integrated circuits.
- Contribute to and lead the photonic design process from conception to foundry tape-out.
- Develop, simulate and optimize design for on-chip passive and active components.
- Collaborate with internal (product, electronics, testing) & external stakeholders (foundries, OSAT partners) to develop application-specific circuits.
- Validate the design by designing experiments, conducting preliminary tests, and analyzing data.
Your skills
- Master’s degree or PhD in Photonics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Prior knowledge in PIC design and EDA tools.
- Experience with electromagnetic and multi-physics simulations (e.g. Lumerical, COMSOL).
- Proficiency in optical system design and analysis.
We are looking at your motivation and potential more than your skills, feel free to apply also if you match only parts of the listed skills.
What we offer
- Opportunity to join a diverse, ambitious and fast-growing team at an early stage.
- Possibility for growth and ownership in the product and the company.
- Ability to develop independently while still working in a highly collaborative environment.
- Gain deep insight into the exciting topics around photonic hardware and work in cross-disciplinary teams.
